Offering in-home parenting support in Charlotte, NC

Are you looking for some answers on how to parent your toddler or young child? Do you feel like all you ever do is say “no” and get into power struggles?

You’re looking for answers on how to interact with your child in a new way. You’re overwhelmed by all the different parenting strategies out there. It’s been challenging to be consistent when you’re faced with so many options.

Whatever you’re feeling, you’re noticing it having an impact in more than just parenting:

  • Struggling to stay focused and motivated at work or with hobbies

  • Irritability at friends and family

  • Stress in your partnership

  • Feeling burnt out

  • Thoughts of just giving up

  • Losing sleep or not sleeping well

This Parenting course can help

This course is designed to reset the way you view yourself, your child(ren), and parenting. It provides the equivalent of a graduate-level course in Child-Centered Play Therapy, equipping you with knowledge, skills, and strategies for navigating the complicated world of parenting. You’ll meet with me for an average of 10 sessions and leave the course feeling confident and rejuvenated in your parenting abilities.

CPRT helps you do 5 things:

  • Holds a safe place for you to explore new parenting techniques, feel, and grow without judgment, rushing, or pressure

  • Provides an understanding of the way your child processes and learns

  • Build skills and strategies that translate into your real life

  • Foster love and connection with you and your family

  • See your kid(s) in a new light

I’ll help through this process, tailoring each step to your unique needs and circumstances. My approach to parent support comes from a place of hope and understanding : you are not a bad parent; maybe you just need to reset and feel supported. I’m here to help.
